Chapter Twelve

(Nyah)

I woke up with Tyler standing in my doorway. I hurried and put on my robe to take Tyler out my room. He looked like somebody had died. Whatever was bothering him, it showed through his eyes. He was really hurt. I could feel his pain, it was unusual for him to be this way.

“What’s wrong with you Tyler?” I said worried.

However, he just looked hurt beyond measure. He wouldn’t even look me in my face.

“I can’t believe they could do this to me. What the fuck would give them the audacity to disrespect me, I been nothing but great to them. Raising a fucking baby that was not even mine, thinking I was being less of a man because I wasn’t there for her. All along the fucking father is my brother, Ryan. Crystal and Ryan are fucking on each other, but I can’t even look at the bitch like I want to have sex. This shit is ludicrous that my main man is fucking on my fiancé. However, the shit only gets worse because the dumb bitch is pregnant again by him. We have not had sex in months,” he told me as tears rolled down his face.

I was lost for words because I felt the amount of hurt that lingered within his body through his words. The pain he felt I could not imagine because I’ve never seen him cry. I knew he was hurt and I wanted to be there for him in his time of need. No matter what happens between us, he would always be good to me, and I knew I would do the same.

“What are you talking about Tyler? You can’t be serious, maybe you are just overreacting,” I sighed in disbelief.

He just shook his head before uttering words, but he spoke so fast that I didn’t understand. I could only grab him by the back so I could embrace him with a hug, letting him know I was there for him.

“My brother did not tell me he got my fiancé pregnant. I overheard her talking to Ryan saying she was going to tell me if he did not tell himself,” he said barely looking at anything or anybody in particular.

“I’m going to be here for you forever and I don’t want you to be upset with them. It will only hurt you in the long run. Just pretend to be cool about the situation and see how long it takes until one of them tells you, then you will find out where the loyalty lies. Just be civil about the situation because secrets always come to the light eventually,” I told him still hugging him tightly.

“Is everything okay?” Armando asked.

Once assuring him everything would be okay, he went back upstairs to get ready for work. Tyler watched as Armando went back upstairs and I could see the anger that came upon him. Not because Armando had come into the picture, but because he knew he fucked up. I hated to see him like this; I wish I could share the pain with him.
